A magical musical story of an everlasting friendship.
Laura has always wanted someone special to share her thoughts with. One night she finds a broken star outside on her window ledge. Tenderly, she takes the star inside and, as it glows warmly in her hand, she knows that she will be able to tell it all her thoughts...
Local composer and Musical Director Matthew Finch and Curtain Up’s Principal Tristan Carter have joined forces to produce a 1 act, 1 actress show; with either Daisy Jorgensen or Maisie Carter playing Laura.
Suitable for all children aged 4-10 and their families.
Performances are at 4.30pm and 6.30pm daily. Please come wearing your pyjamas and dressing gown (and don’t forget your favourite cuddly toy) for this magical, musical, bedtime story. Hot chocolate will be available in the upstairs bar before the show.
School Special - anticipating the popularity of this event, we are delighted to announce there will be matinee performances of Laura’s Star daily at 1.30pm for school parties. Teachers interested in arranging a group booking should call 01761 239185.
