The Green Room

The Green Room - Bath’s first vegetarian theatre café

The bistro will be open before most Main Auditorium productions. Opening times are shown below - usually 90 minutes before the performance. Please see weekly menus below

A Fool's Proof Thu 23 - Sat 25 July 7.30pm

From September 8th (and with the exception of the Jane Austen Festival, and The Telegraph Bath Children's Literature Festival), The Green Room Bistro will no longer run as a restaurant. We are planning to turn the space into a relaxed bar environment, serving a wider range of sweet and savoury snacks, as well as ice creams. However, we will no longer be serving our pre-show suppers. We thank you for your custom over the years, and hope to see you in The Mission Theatre Bar in the future.

Review from tripadvisor.co.uk

"When The Green Room opened, it only offered a lunch menu that I'd been told is delicious, although I'd never eaten there. Recently, however, they've introduced a pre-theatre meal, so we decided to give it a go. "

"It is truly excellent in every way. The food is completely delicious--a simple menu of vegetarian dishes and superb homemade cakes. The portions are just right, the temperature of the cooked food is spot on, and the salads that accompany the main course are fresh and beautifully presented. We had a goat cheese lasagne followed by an absolutely divine chocolate hazelnut truffle cake--perfect!"

"The setting is a bit like an American diner--friendly, simple with no fuss or pretense, and spotlessly clean. The staff are attentive and helpful if you ask, but otherwise wonderfully discreet."

"I strongly recommend this new venture. And don't miss the performance after the meal! - The Mission Theatre puts on innovative plays with superb actors."
