1. What sort of refreshments are available at The Mission Theatre?

The Bistro Upstairs serves beverages, lunches, snacks and soft drinks every weekday in term times, 10-30 - 2.30. The Mission Theatre is fully licensed, with a Bar open whenever there is an evening function. The Bar serves light snacks. On the evenings of some major productions it is possible to order a 2-course supper before the show.

2. Is there a youth drama group that meets at the theatre?

Next Stage Youth meets on a Sunday from 4.30 - 6 pm at The Mission. The group is made up of 10-18 year olds tutored by Next Stage actors. We operate in 3 terms of 10 weeks each and observe school holiday dates. Call 01225 428600 for more information.

3. Is the theatre open to visitors during the day?

The Mission is frequently used for corporate events in the daytime, and so whilst visitors are welcome in The Bistro Upstairs, a phone call to book a visit to the main theatre is advisable.

4. Is there parking available at the theatre?

Avon Street Car Park is opposite the theatre and costs £1 after 6pm. There is also some on-road parking near the theatre at evenings and weekends.

5. What sort of events could the theatre be hired for?

The Mission Theatre is primarily a performance space, and so whilst we host occasional functions and corporate events, our prime objective is to bring performing arts to the space.

6. Can you pay for tickets with a credit card?

Next Stage Box Office does not, as yet, deal with credit or debit cards. Any events at The Mission that are ticketed by Bath Festivals Box Office can be paid for on a card via the Festivals Box Office (01225 463362).

7. Are there facilities for the disabled?

The Mission Theatre Main Auditorium has full disabled access and toilets. The Bistro and Theatre Upstairs cannot be accessed by individuals with mobility problems.
