Spaces for Hire:

The Mission Main Auditorium (with or without The Capsule backstage space), The Theatre Upstairs, or both performance spaces, can be hired for the presentation of performing arts, corporate events and training, conferences and festivals. For more information about hiring any of the spaces, click on the relative links to each area. For more general information, see below.

Available hire periods for The Mission Theatre:

a) Day - 9:00 - 17:00

b) Evening - 18:00 - 23:00

c) Whole day - 10:00 - 23:00

 

Our Bars:

The bars are run by venue staff and volunteers from Next Stage Theatre Company, and can be made available for all public performances. Both are licensed to sell alcohol. In the Bistro you will find we serve a range of cakes, snacks, hot drinks and ice creams which can be eaten there, whilst our fully-accesible Main Auditorium bar sells all of your favorite soft drinks, alcoholic beverages and classic theatre snacks.

Next Stage Theatre Company have also recently acquired Burdall’s Yard, a multi-purpose venue along the London Road which has three atmospheric vaulted spaces available for a range of both theatrical and non-theatrical works. Burdall’s Main Stage is ideal for cosy comedy nights and small theatrical splendors, whilst the Studio and Gallery spaces are ideal for small classes to gather and exhibitions to be displayed.
