"Singers on Sunday's" evening of operatic song

On March 15th in the intimate setting of The Mission Theatre's Bistro, “Singers on Sunday’s” hosted an amazing evening of operatic song. Accompanied by Peter Blackwood Anthony Roper (counter-tenor) performed an eclectic rendition of pieces in multiple languages performing
the works of Mozart, Davis and other European composers. Emilia Plumb's (soprano) extraordinary rich vocal range delivered classics from Minotti, Strauss, Britten and more.
The performers captivated a sell-out audience with their ability to convey a range of emotions, interpreting with equal aplomb the sadness or tongue-in-cheek humour demanded by the pieces. Don't miss the next evening of entertainment from SOS - April 5th at 8pm in The Theatre Upstairs.
