Bath International Music Festival

The Mission Theatre was proud to play host to a variety of musical events during this year's Bath International Music Festival. Sellout concerts, workshops and a masterclass by festival director Joanna MacGregor brought many new visitors to the theatre. The Bistro was used as a Festival Cafe and hosted throughout the Festival a display of John Cohen's atmospheric black and white photographs bearing witness to the renaissance of the American folk scene of the late 1940s.
Late Nights at The Mission Theatre also proved a popular series of events which culminated in a memorable concert Bach and Beyond. Brilliant harpsichordist Jane Chapman delighted her audience with her virtuosity and skill (see pictures below).
