Sunday Specials - dave saunders

Our new Sunday evening events celebrating the life and work of various talented Bath citizens, was launched in style by a spirited, informative and entertaining talk and slide show from local photographer and travel writer Dave Saunders. From early days in journalism to exotic locations in Dubai and the Caribbean, Dave's account of his life's work and the papers, publications and magazines for which he has worked proved fascinating. Glorious slides took the audience from one beautiful country to the next until everyone wondered why they were doing their own particular day job! Hints to would-be photographers, near-death experiences on land and under water, favourite and least-favourite places, all were covered in Dave's eloquent and amusing narratives. An appreciative audience enjoyed it all in the intimacy of the Theatre Upstairs.

If you missed the launch of this monthly series make a note in your diary to be there for the next event on Sunday 12th October when Ian Burton answers the question: What is a Dramaturg?". Time 7.30pm cost £5 on the door.
