Sunday Specials - Ian Burton: What is a Dramaturg?

Continuing the new season of Sunday Specials, Ian Burton entertained his audience on Sunday 12th October in The Theatre Upstairs with stories of his career in international opera over the last twenty years. A fluent and charismatic speaker, Ian quickly had his audience enthralled as they heard stories of divas, directors and dramaturgs. Extracts from some of the stunning operas upon which Ian has worked were shown before a lively question and answer session. Such was the popularity of the event that a number of people who were present have asked if Ian would return to do another session.
