The truly "Amazing" Street Cred Band

10 / 2009

On Friday 9th October, The Mission Theatre welcomed back the Bath-based 'Amazing Street' Cred Band for an evening of blues and good old-fashioned rock’n’roll. The band - singer/guitarist Richard Ingham, lead guitar Mike Graves, keyboard player Torsten Jensen and bassist Scott Barter - have previously enjoyed sold out evenings at The Mission and Friday’s concert was no exception. The 100-strong audience were treated to a full evening of live music and entertainment, including a set by comedian Drift Snowbarger and a delightful interlude from The Stockingtops, a ladies’ choir run by Grenville Jones - famous for taking The Bath Male Choir to the final five in BBC’s Last Choir Standing last year.

All the music was fantastic and by the end of the night the audience were up and dancing in the aisles – and in the space left clear for them in the auditorium’s cabaret-style layout. Hopefully the band’s Christmas single will enjoy as much success when they release it later in the year.
