The Theatre Upstairs is available for weekday and evening hire, and the attractive and intimate space has proved perfect over the years for individual performers, small-scale productions, speakers, musicians, poets, interest groups, meetings, talks, presentations and training days. Seating up to 50 people, the Theatre Upstairs is a light, spacious and flexible room with a raised stage area, 8 easy-to-move tables and a bar selling snacks and refreshments. The Theatre Upstairs is accessed via 16 steps from the foyer and there is no lift.
For small-scale productions, stand-up comedy or music, The Theatre Upstairs is fully equipped with a sound system and stage lighting. The Theatre Upstairs would also suit any organisation, group or individual seeking a regular weekday slot in an easily accessible space in the centre of Bath. We can offer the following hire packages: Full day 10:00 - 17:00 or Half day 10:00 - 13:00/14:00 - 17:00, throughout the year. We close over the Christmas and Easter breaks.
