The Theatre Upstairs
This small and versatile space has a stage in one corner and can be used for meetings or small-scale productions for audiences of up to 50. The Next Stage Theatre Company regularly presents Theatre Suppers here, three-course meals with one-act plays or sections from longer plays in between the courses. These have proved extremely popular and make effective use of this performance space linked to kitchen facilities.
The Theatre Upstairs is equipped with lighting bars and a small desk to provide a variety of stage washes. There is also a PA system available for musical events.
The Theatre Upstairs includes kitchen facilities, a licensed bar, tables and seating for 32. During the day it is used as our vegetarian bistro, The Green Room. For evening performances, pre-show and interval drinks are available here, and also pre-show meals for some performances (telephone to check and book).
