The Theatre Upstairs

This small and versatile space has a stage in one corner and can be used for meetings or small-scale productions for audiences of up to 50.  The Next Stage Theatre Company regularly presents Theatre Suppers here, three-course meals with one-act plays or sections from longer plays in between the courses. These have proved extremely popular and make effective use of this performance space linked to kitchen facilities. 

There is a licensed bar where refreshments may be obtained before productions in the main auditorium, and during intervals.  Pre-show meals are available for some performances (telephone to check and book). 

During the day the area becomes a Bistro, offering snacks from 10.30 to 2.30 on weekdays.  

The Theatre Upstairs includes kitchen facilities, a licensed bar, tables and seating for 32.  During the day it is used as a Bistro, providing drinks and snacks, many of them home-made, produced by our caterer Leslie Dando.  For evening performances, pre-show and interval drinks are available here, and also pre-show meals for some performances (telephone to check and book).
