Presented by Bath Gilbert & Sullivan Society
2nd-4th March 7:30pm plus 2:30pm Matinee on Saturday 4th.
For over seventy years, Bath Gilbert and Sullivan Society has been appreciating, performing and promoting the works of one of musical theatre's most successful and enduring partnerships. Between 1871 and 1896 WS Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan produced 13 comic operas which are still regularly staged throughout the English speaking world and beyond. The society is affiliated to NODA and the national Gilbert and Sullivan Society.
Our busy and enjoyable schedule includes concerts, plays, old time music hall nights, talks, film showings, charity and social events. The season culminates in a fully staged production at the end of May and normally ends with a programme of charity concerts in late June, early July.
Following our very successful concert version of Orpheus in the Underworld in November 2016, we're continuing with our 2016-17 season and are currently in rehearsals for 3 performances of an Old Time Music Hall.
