Sunday 28th October at 2pm & 4pm

One wintery evening, Tyltyl wakes to find a humpback figure in his bedroom. She is obviously a fairy. Tyltyl must find the blue bird that makes people happy. And he must do so before morning. Tyltyl
doesn’t know about blue birds, or where he might find one but joined by his faithful pets the search begins...

Lightbox Theatre presents Maurice Maeterlinck’s classic fairy-tale about happiness, perception and
seeing the extraordinary in our everyday. Directed by Anna Marsland (resident director of West End show: Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time) this is a visually charming and magical show for young and old alike.

‘Filled with high energy, encounters and wonders – as a show for children it is engaging, inventive, sweet and fresh’ - A Younger Theatre

‘Full of hope and magic – very charming'     - LondonTheatre
