“Am I dead?” - The question that confounds Hazel as she discovers life has changed beyond all recognition. TangleTree is the story of Hazel, and her mother Ivy, and follows them as they battle to rebuild their lives together following a life-shattering car accident. Inspired by the real-life experiences of a Bristol mother and daughter, TangleTree will resonate with any living soul who has ever loved and triumphed, despaired or raged against the struggles of parenting and growing up.
“The acting is brilliant… nuanced interactions evoke a sense of real life unreliability and idiosyncrasy.” - Grace Spencer - 6th Stroud Festival Reviews.
“A hard hitting piece of important theatre. Right from the first car crash sound I was shocked and drawn in.” - Audience member.
“This IS me.” - Brain injury survivor.
All profits from TangleTree after costs will go to support Headway Brain Injury Charity.
