Ever wondered what a Cinnamon-coloured Cryptic Tree Hunter is, or a Problematic Flasher, a Dusky Seaside Sparrow, a Rocket Frog, or a Fire Millipede From Hell?

Vigil is a wild, playful encounter with the hinterlands of species on planet Earth. Bizarre, colourful, comic, enigmatic - solo performer Tom Bailey navigates his way through thousands of species in a whirlwind exploration of animal life.

Following its recent award-winning production at the 2018 Edinburgh Fringe - Zugunruhe (“extraordinary… moving and enlightening”, New Scientist) - Mechanimal visits Bath with its latest show. Supported by Bristol Old Vic Ferment, University College London and The Pound Arts Centre.
