Presented by Black Dog Productions

Tuesday 10th - Saturday 14th September at 7.30pm

A man tied to a radiator, a writer going seemingly nowhere, and a woman haunted by her past. Howl explores how far man is willing to go to be truly free, no matter how damaging.

1950's America, a down on his luck writer meets a girl at his workplace who seems to be the answer to all of his problems. To impress her he creates a reflection of himself, one that is spontaneous and successful in his endeavours, however when the reflection starts acting erratically, things begin to spiral out of control...

Black Dog Productions's first piece of work Howl, premiered at the Bath Fringe Festival in 2016. After a brilliant reception, the show has been taken to The Lion and Unicorn in Camden and The Nest in Bath.

After a break of touring this production, Black Dog Productions are delighted to be bringing Howl to The Mission Theatre.

A theatrical gem; plays that hold the attention of their audiences like this are few and far between and to reveal the plot would spoil what is a gripping night out” -Theatre Bath *****
