The Autumn season begins with resident Theatre Company Next Stage’s September production of Absent Friends - patron Sir Alan Ayckbourn’s take on friendship, loyalties and middle-class, middle-aged angst. This play, one of his early works, is an insightful and hilarious comedy with all the classic hallmarks for which Ayckbourn has become famous.
